From the Magic Table: Whistle of Missiles

Whistle of Missiles

Some whistles of missiles are carved from pure thistle, while others are chiseled from artificial crystal. Their origin is thought to be abyssal, though a fistful of missiles is always beneficial. The initial blast of the whistle creates a dismissal of three missiles, which fly through the air and sparkle like tinsel.

Each missile fired as if from a pistol strikes with a sizzle, causing damage not superficial. A judicial d6 of damage will make any enemy bristle, or feel wistful to shrivel from a fate sacrificial. However, the blower of the whistle must be fiscal with missiles, for after seven dismissals the whistle becomes fissile leaving its wielder unarmed and altricial.
